Gourmet Traveller Magazine described the Spirit House as ‘a tropical film set that takes your breath away. Like the setting, the Thai inspired cuisine is breathtaking.’ Clustered around a tranquil pond, the restaurant setting is magical, a temple style main building with covered courtyard tables nestled amongst lush tropical gardens with towering palms and stands of bamboo.
The Hong Sa Bar offers a more casual Spirit House experience with its lounge style setting and amazing share platters. Adjoining the bar is the Private Dining Room, with its dedicated chef/kitchen, is perfect for small weddings, cocktail parties or corporate functions.
At night, Spirit House turns into a magical wonderland as flares and lights reflect in the water. The music is the music of nature, ducks, frogs, birds against the background tinkling of temple bells.
Spirit House chefs conduct daily classes every week in the purpose built, ‘hands-on’ cooking school. These classes demystify Asian ingredients and cooking methods and are a great day out with a group of friends. Classes are limited to a maximum of 18 people.
A visit to the Spirit House is a treat for all your senses, sight, sound, scent and of course, taste.
